Found a good producing pocket of gold this spring but heavy rains chased me out of the ravine. Going back this weekend with my wife and see if it's still there. The sides of the ravine are near vertical. Coming in from the top of Deadman Hollow is the easiest way but it's a long hike in.
My knee is giving me a lot of trouble. The VA suggested a replacement but the jury still deliberating on that. It could cause further nerve damage to my lower leg. They gave me a 45% chance of success. Not too good in my book.
Found 2 grams the first day and there was plenty of gold, I could see it but busting bedrock was difficult without the proper tools. Now I'm geared up and ready for the challenge. I'll post pictures in this blog if I do any good.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Jeff
