Hello Everyone!
I am trying to type with a steel brace on my hand. It appears that I have sprained my wrist. Kinda bad timing, I'm going out next weekend with my wife. We'll likely hit Deadman Hollow if its not snowing. I worked a feeder creek in the spring and did really good. One picker and lots of fines. Broke up the ground pretty well and now I want to see if I can find some more color.
I have been saving money for the domain upgrade, so look for that real soon.
Also, I have an inside track on a location near Yellowwood State Forest, where a guy was digging a well by hand but found no water just layers of soil, clay, red sand, gravels and black sands. Apparently the hole is about 16 ft deep and 5 ft in diameter. Thought I might go check it out.
I have been watching a place on lower Gose Creek, just outside the MMSF. I need to get permission to check it out. I found gold there three years ago, but now the creek has changed course a little and exposed new ground. Might be worth looking.
2014 is GOLD OR BUST for me,..I'm retired basically for now so I'm going to spend a lot of time on the creek bank. Gotta still pay the bills somehow. Looking to make a trip to North Carolina this year and maybe Georgia too.
Happy New Year Everyone and may be your pans be heavier this year with color.
Jeff
